The Nontronnaise cutlery is taking part in the 7th edition of the “Rue des Métiers d’Art”, which is being held on October 28th, 29th and 30th in the heart of the Périgord Vert capital.
Present at the Rue des Métiers d’Art event with a stand on the Place de la Mairie, the Coutellerie Nontronnaise also opens the doors of its shop located at 33 rue Carnot in Nontron, every day that the event lasts. The team is waiting for you on Saturdays from 9.30am to 12am and from 2pm to 7pm but also on Sundays from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 3pm to 6pm.

The Nontron Fa7, an exceptional design knife.
Designed by Christian Ghion for the Nontronnaise Cutlery, loe Fa7 is a table knife with an architectural and ultra contemporary design. Highlighted during this new edition of the Rue des Métiers d’Arts, this tableware accessory seduces with its beautiful blade made of sage leaf and its geometric lines. The design should not omit the practical side: for this purpose, a densified ash finish allows the Fa7 to be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Appointment of the Perigord design and know-how, the Rue des Métiers d’Art, an exceptional experience and the pleasure of being able to observe the work of exceptional knowledge, those of these 30 craftsmen, bearers of values of culture and modernity. The event is coordinated by the Nontron-Périgord-Limousin Experimental Skills Center.
Among all the discoveries and surprises, let us mention the wind bells blue azure shades, receptacles ventrus, deep red domed, created by the snowblower Yukie Inaba or the tattooed papyrus Marine Cros or the characters ceramic of Joëlle Gervais.
… and the Experimental Pole of the Crafts
Since 1999, the Experimental Pole of Art Professions has been promoting the development of art professions in Nontron, in Périgord Vert and on the territory of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park. Major actor of the local cultural life, he is at the initiative and coordinates, among other events, five annual exhibitions and the editions of the “Rue des Métiers d’Art”. It is also the organization body of the Residences Design and Arts Crafts in Dordogne, fruit of a partnership between the Ministry of Culture, (DRAC Aquitaine), the Regional Council of Aquitaine-Limousin-Poitou-Charentes and the Departmental Council of the Dordogne (Departmental Cultural Agency), municipalities and partner associations that welcome residents.
Since 2000, through the PEMA, the city of Nontron has hosted: Matali Crasset, Virieu Godefrou, Stefania Di Petrillo, Jean Couvreur, Samuel Accocebery, Les M Studio.
