Practical, modern and sustainable cutlery
The compressed fabric used for the knife handles is a composite material obtained from stained tissue (natural cotton) and mixed with resin. This compressed fabric has the advantage of being sustainable through recycling, offering unique and varied hues and being dishwasher-friendly.
The tissue is compressed in plates first and then hand-crafted by expert cutlers.
The tissue is delivered in raw plates and sawed into pieces at Nontron, before the cutlery craftsmen hand-craft the knife handles at the Nontronnaise Cutlery workshop.
